Abstract
This article presents a comprehensive analysis of the chemical and phase composition of iron-bearing industrial waste generated at major metallurgical enterprises in Uzbekistan. It was determined that dust from electric arc steelmaking furnaces, slags, and waste from beneficiation plants contain valuable components such as iron (29-53%), zinc (11-14%), and manganese (up to 9.6%). The research findings substantiate the economic and environmental prospects of processing this waste as an import-substituting secondary raw material.
