Abstract
This article presents the results of a study on the efficiency of a two-stage setup. The
two-stage setup for deep dust-laden air purification, comprising a cyclone with a coagulator and a
scrubber with floating packing, exhibits relatively high dust removal efficiency while meeting sanitary
requirements. The effect of dust-air flow velocity on the purification efficiency and hydraulic
resistance of a model cyclone, as well as the effect of dust-air flow velocity on the overall hydraulic
resistance and fractional efficiency of a pilot two-stage setup, are determined
