Abstract

Amine purification technology is the most common chemical absorption method in
the gas industry. It removes sulfur compounds (H₂S) and carbon (IV) oxide (CO₂) from the gas
composition. This process is necessary to adapt the gas to the requirements, reduce corrosion, and
protect catalysts in the production of liquid fuels. An important aspect of the gas industry, in particular,
is the separation of sulfur compounds (H₂S, CO₂) from natural and process gases.
